Walt Disney not only brought some beloved animated characters to life but had some memorable quotes as well. Which of these quotes might apply to your financial life?
He talked about getting to a point where you don’t work for money anymore. Retirement can be an interesting transition. After spending decades working long and hard hours, you may have to take time to adjust to retirement. Or, maybe you put off retirement a little longer or get a part-time job to work doing something you love.
When you think of Disney, you can’t help but think of Mickey Mouse. Walt said, “I hope we never lose sight of one thing…it was started by a mouse.” When you step back, what is the one thing you need to never lose sight of in your financial plan? Nathan says it’s your income plan in retirement. This is a foundational piece of your plan that you want to get set right.
